The Sunday Showcase
Welcome to what we’re hoping to be a really exciting new feature to Photo Creative 365.
It’s all very well talking the talk but can you walk it?
This is what the Sunday Showcase is all about… showing what we can do!
Every week we’ll showcase a different photo shoot from different photographers amateur or professional.
Why?
To share what is really happening out there. We don’t want perfect portfolios just interesting approaches to your chosen subject.
When we share we learn, and that’s what this website is all about.
The plan is to do a feature every Sunday but that may be increased at some point. The success depends purely on YOU otherwise I’m just going to show my stuff off every week and that might get a little boring for you!
What we’re after…
- A set of 4-22 images from a single shoot
- Any style or genre of photography
- Creatively, originally, boldness, silliness, fun and passion for the medium.
- YOUR style…. not shots from a workshop! (zzzzzzzzzzz)
- A few lines about the shoot…. these don’t have to be commissioned shoots but we’d love to hear why and how you created the images.
- Something about you…. we’re not going to pay you dude so milk the chance at self promotion!
- Where we can find you….. Website, Blog, Twitter feed and Facebook page.
Requirements (serious bit)
- The maximum size for image is 1200 pixels on the longest side
- Send us a couple of low res shots using the contact form below before you send us hundreds of shots!
- Feel free to watermark the images but don’t splash a massive COPYRIGHT around the middle of the shot…. it doesn’t look nice and the title of this section is ‘Showcase’ after all.
- You’ll gonna want have some sense of self promotion other than just having a ClickPic website.
Free submission to The 2010 Project Photography Competition.
As a little added bonus, and thank you, we’ll submit the best shot from each Sunday Showcase to The 2010 Project…… we’ll even pay £1 submission fee!
So not only will you have a chance to have one of your images featured in a published book you’ll also help raise valuable funds for Macmillan Cancer Support!
