Foliobook is the iPad portfolio app that allows you to create your own magazine-like home page.
Professional Photographer Magazine said “Its the most unique customisable [...]

It’s interesting to see how the ipad has been used for all different types of photography but one area that can certainly benefit is event photography. I’ve been looking at different ways to use my ipad at events that go further than simple tethered shooting.
A few weeks ago I came across a wonderful app called Photo Party [...]

iPad apps and workflow for photographers (Part 1)

October 25, 2011 – 10:00 am |

Today’s iPad for photographers post is a guest post from fellow wedding and portrait photographer Mark Cornwell. My iPad use expanded so fast that a “how I use it” seemed better and we agreed that I would do just that. This article has become two posts as I’ve written too much and Michael has edited me!

Yesterday I did my first client viewing using the Photo Folder iPad app and all in all it worked quite nicely for my simple needs.

How to wirelessly tether your camera to an iPad

October 11, 2011 – 11:00 am |

Since the iPad was launched photographers have been finding ways to wirelessly tether their SLRs to their iPads.
There have been a few solutions but some have either involved jailbreaking your iPad or using expensive wireless transmitters.
So far the best solution on the market I’ve discovered is to use the Eye-Fi wireless SD cards.
Eye-Fi have now [...]

The British Journal of Photography iPad Edition

October 4, 2011 – 10:00 am |

Last month The British Journal of Photography launched their iPad app/edition and I’ve spent the last couple of weeks having a good read through the masses of content in the first (free) issue.
To be honest there’s the sort of quality content you’d expect from BJP and even for a regular magazine this is a big [...]
