On Monday (August 23) we’ll see a change coming (again) to Facebook Fan Pages (or whatever they’re called these day).

All the recent news seems to be about Facebook Places and the privacy issue surrounding it.

If you don’t fancy sharing your location with everyone here’s a nice little tutorial from Lifehacker on how to disable Facebook Places

However if you are a Facebook Fan page owner and you’ve been doing all sort of tweaks to your page they take note!

Bye bye Boxes

The “Boxes” tab, boxes on profiles and Pages, and application info sections will be going away.

Application Tabs

Next week, Page admins will have the ability to preview their custom tabs in the new 520 pixel width so they can modify their layouts as needed. All profile and Page tabs will be resized automatically beginning the week of August 23.
