Day 61 – Photo-shoot locations – Cramond, Edinburgh
This is the first in what will become a series of some great locations I’ve found. Some might not be the most exciting in the world and most of them will be in the UK.
If you have any great locations you’ll like to recommend then drop us an email at info@photocreative365.com.
Cramond, Edinburgh
Cramond lies on the south shore of the River Forth four miles north west of the centre of Edinburgh. It is almost cut off from the western edge of Edinburgh. by a line of golf courses extending inland from the Forth, and its west edge is sharply defined by the River Almond flowing swiftly into the Estuary. www.undiscoveredscotland.co.uk
This was my first visit Cramond and the shoot was with my three brother-in-laws. Thank you my Mother-in-law for recommending the location! During low tide it is possible to walk across to Cramond Island but we were mostly shooting along the beach.
Here’s a few shots from the day.
Everything was shot on my Canon 5DMkII using a 24-70mm Canon lens. Most of the flash was off camera using wireless triggers and my lovely wife to hold the Speedlite.
