You might have seen our extra post last Thursday – Photography Today and if you’re a follower on Twitter you also might have noticed an increase in the amount of information we’ve been sharing.
I have mentioned before that this site will constantly be evolving and our new feature ‘Today’ is just part of that evolution. One of my goals when first creating this site was to share as much information that could either be helpful, useful or perhaps just a little bit interesting to the modern photographer.
What Today is all about
The Today feature is basically a snapshot list of articles posted that day. We’ve done a couple already Photoshop on and Photography and so far they have proved to be quite popular.
We’re not planning on using this feature to replace out other regular posts but it’s more about adding a little something extra.
All of the articles will be from blog-publishing platforms ( such as WordPress®, Blogger, Movable Type, Joomla, and many others ).
There’s not going to be any set day we do these posts or any particular time (although the content is a little better towards the end of the day). We’ll try and match the theme with that day’s particular post but we may just throw a few random ones in there!
Changes to the Twitter feed
We have added a little bit of automation in terms of how we find the links we share on Twitter and so far the links that we’ve fund have been really good quality. In the next few weeks I’m going to share some more info on what we’ve been using and how you can do the same.
