If you’ve been following my Twitter feed you might have noticed an increase in tweets in the last week or so. This isn’t down to an abundance of free time I assure you but rather the auto twitter feed from PhotoZZ.

I have talked a little about Using Twitter to Bookmark before and now the twitter feed I pay most attention to is my own!

What isPhotoZZ?

PhotoZZ is a place for people to discover and share Photo Industry related links from across the web.The purpose of PhotoZZ is to filter all photo related links and surface the most desired links for you.

For those of you that are familiar with Design-Newz and AllTop then you’ll easily get to grips with PhotoZZ.

My favourite feature is the auto post which you get setup in two easy steps…. the first being clicking the link below!

After you have signed in with your Twitter account you have a few options regarding the frequency of your tweets, how many accounts you wish to publish to and whether you want to publish articles on just photography, gear or both.

Will it drive more traffic to your website?

It certainly will! Not only do you have people (like myself) tweeting your posts but Facebook sharing is also encouraged which can only be a good thing!

It does of course depend on what you’re posting, headline are extremely important so make sure they can fit into a tweet with a bit.ly link on the end of them. But also realise who this site is aimed at….. people with an interest in photography. Chances are it’s not going to book you a load of portrait sessions but if you have something of value to the photography community then this is the perfect place to share it.

We’ve been on PhotoZZ for just over a week now and I’m happy to say that one of our posts is one of the most popular of this week. As a result we’ve had a large amount of tweeted links and Facebook Likes. In fact for the search term ‘sharing images on facebook’ on Google Blog Search we are number 1 (for now)!
