Today’s Sunday showcase comes from photographer Becs Viveash from www.viveashphotography.co.uk. These images are from her Pictorial portfolio.

“I think I’m definitely one of those voyeuristic types. I’m not sure it’s entirely healthy but photography beautifully feeds my addiction and allows me to create the colour filled world as I see it. As a child my bedroom floor was covered with bits of cut up paper, crushed crayons into the carpet, strange objects hanging over lamps to produce strange shadows, scissors stuck together with glue. My creative approach hasn’t changed, I’m now just obsessed with trying to creating interested, layered, texture photographs instead (there is just less hovering to be done which is a bonus). I have recently moved back to the UK from Asia, resigning in my job as Studio Manager and am now very tentatively trying to make a small (very small!) mark on the photographic industry. For the passed 10 years I have been working in and around design studios where I’ve been scrutinising the world in 2D format that this really does feel like a natural progression. I shoot on a Nikon D3000 and take it everywhere I go. In the last few months I have been fortunate enough to have shot for event companies, marketing companies and done some family portraits. But I have so much more to learn and I get so excited about the smallest new detail that I think its going to take me about 50 years before, if ever, I would dare call myself a professional! But I can wait as its so worth it!”
