Where to start and why……

Part 2 Twitter

Although often mentioned in the same breath as Facebook it’s like comparing McDonald’s to a local family owned restaurant….. at least regarding usership….. but how useful is twitter as a tool for your photography business?

Fact: it’s highly unlikely that you’ll meet hundreds of potential bride and grooms or mothers aching for a family portrait on twitter….. at least on a regular basis anyway!

So what’s the point?

Twitter is just as much about discovery as it is sharing. This makes it the perfect place to connect with other businesses in your area and industry.

It’s not the ONLY social network you can do this on but it is one of the popular ones to do so.

The truth is that if you’re not engaging on this platform then you will be missing out in certain opportunities……. Could your business survive without Twitter? Of course it can but for something that takes very little time and costs you nothing it’s a fantastic resource.
