  • Tim Hoy

At the start of 2010, many of us photographers started out on a challenge to see if we could produce a daily blog – usually photography based with an image or topic each day. With the 2010 project in full swing by the end of January, the workload this challenge placed on my already overflowing glass I gave up in early April. Rob Thomas also started an ambitious but inspiring photograph a stranger each day. His too fizzled out. I have held interest in just one of the original group and that is of course this excellent resource that has been delivered daily without hassle. If only everything in life was that bloody helpful. So the 365 has almost been realised by the rising star of European photography. Michael Shilling, you have been an inspiration, a workhorse, an advisor – a great teacher (tell your parents this) and I hope a great friend too. The best is yet to come with the 2010 project that has been almost entirely due to Michael’s tireless work. Thank you thank you thank you.
