Isn’t it nice to be followed by an actual human and not a robot? There’s a good chance that a large number of your 5000+ followers aren’t real people at all, especially if you have something set up to auto follow followers.

Why it is a problem having so many followers?

Well it’s great for the ego, and somewhere along the way you might pick up a few good followers. But wouldn’t it be great if all of your followers were real people?

If you auto follow back then the chances are that your twitter feed will be filled with lots and lots of irrelevant ‘noise’…. trust me I’ve been there!
