A couple of weeks at I looked at a WordPress Editorial Calendar Plugin which I use to help organize and schedule all of my posts. Recently I’ve been working on a WordPress site which needed a front end calendar for it’s members and visitors.

One plugin I found particularly useful was The Events Calendar.

The Events Calendar plugin enables you to rapidly create and manage events using the post editor. Features include Google Maps integration as well as default templates such as a calendar grid and event list for streamlined one click installation.

Once installed when you create new posts you have the option to add the post as an event. Set start time and date, add a location, maps, contact details and event cost.
